Also considered as the “PEARL” coffee for its roundness, you can sometimes find only one bean per plant. It is possible to find one single coffee bean in the drupes on the younger branches of this plant. Due to being a roundish bean it is called Caracolito or “PEARL COFFEE”.
This coffee has been tasted at 93°C with an extraction of 25 ml in 24 seconds. The degassing of this coffee took place in 48 hours. The crema has a hazelnut color with light nuances. The aromas are of toasted bread and caramel, typical for Brazilian coffees.
It performs well for espresso and cappuccino.
