Peru Chocolate is a Bonajuto chocolate made from Criollo cocoa beans from Peru, one of the world's most prized cocoa varieties. With a minimum cocoa content of 65% and made with only two ingredients—cocoa mass and sugar—it delivers a pure and authentic cocoa flavor, crafted using Bonajuto's traditional chocolate-making method.
It is produced by Antica Dolceria Bonajuto, the oldest continuously operating chocolate factory in Sicily and one of the oldest in Italy. For more than 150 years and across six generations, the Bonajuto family has been crafting artisanal chocolate in the town of Modica, Sicily, following the traditional low-temperature processing method that preserves the natural characteristics of cocoa and has made Modica chocolate renowned around the world.
